Prior to real estate Johnson completed a
qualification in business management and enjoyed many careers such as
interior design and construction. His background enabled him to gain
effective skills such as marketing and creative skills.
Nine years later Johnson decided to join real estate as he wanted to
meet new people, make new friends and was inspired by his wife, Karen.
Johnson chose the highly successful Barfoot & Thompson Papatoetoe
branch specialising in development land and rural properties. Johnson
decided to join Barfoot & Thompson because of their great
networking, team environment and excellent managerial support.
Johnson has a large data base of wealthy Chinese investors and has
sold many large tracts of development land from Tauranga to Whangarei.
Johnson’s proudest moment in his real estate career so far has been
taking over the Denby Heights project in Whangarei that had been
languishing for 4 years without successful sales and being able to sell a
multitude of sections in a short time to the many customers on his data
base.
Outside of his real estate career Johnson enjoys spending time with
his wife and two adult sons. Johnson is also enrolled in the community
school to improve his English and has organised a street party with his
neighbours.
Johnson is able to speak fluent English, Mandarin and Taiwanese should you require specialist language skills.
